Each year all levels of government (federal, state, and local), as well as other groups and corporations distribute grants to individuals, the community and not-for-profit organisations. These grants can be an excellent opportunity to fund your club’s projects or initiatives.

Grants programs are developed to drive particular social, cultural or economic objectives. Understanding these objectives is essential in order for clubs to clearly and competitively articulate how their proposal aligns with the desired outcomes of the grant program.

Disaster and emergency support funding may also be available to clubs and community organisations impacted by natural disasters or significant emergency events. This support is often designed to assist with immediate recovery, rebuilding, and longer-term resilience following events such as floods, cyclones, bushfires, or severe weather.
